Emma Yeo applies a range of skills and techniques to transform and manipulate a diverse selection of mediums including metal, plastic, natural materials and fabrics. Her work is unique and experimental. Design software is used to create each linear design which is then inscribed onto wood using a laser cutter. This results in intricate sculptural pieces which hold a strong sense of movement and interest on their surface.
The masters of compulsive hoarding, The Collyer Brothers have been Isabel Fisholock inspiration for this project.By the time of their deaths they had turned their house into a fortress of clutter. This collection by Samantha Cole London drew loosely from the current climate in relation to the feeling of “coming out, coming through, a fresh start and something new…”. It embrased almost a cleansing effect, a purification in it’s approach, hence the all white collection. The structure was inspired by the sophisticated styling of Post-Modern Architecture. The textured shapes formed within the fabric were inspired by the details found in Geometric Architecture, which dates back to the Pyramids of Egypt. The technique used to create these shapes is known as “Smocking” The fabrics used in the collection were Silk mixes, Cotton, Muslin, Jersey and Leather

Sebastian Jansson has always been intrigued by “the way a plain sheet of paper folds into regular structures” and by paper bags in particular. This lampshade relies on the same “folding principle” to be observed in paper bags. Depending on which angles the user bends, the lamp produces a different atmosphere that can be changed in keeping with the degree of light required and the ambiance you wish to create.
